Mark L. Korb
Mark L. Korb was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1964 and received his JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1967, where he was awarded the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Korb initially practiced law with, and became a shareholder in, the firm of Campbell, Brennan, Steil & Ryan, S.C. in Janesville, Wisconsin, where he concentrated on commercial transactions, taxation, construction law and litigation, and insurance defense. In 1976, Mr. Korb moved to Fort Collins and became a partner in a well established local firm, March, March & Myatt, later known as March, Myatt, Korb & Carroll. His practice emphasis was on commercial law, including litigation, tax, and business organizations, as well as a general practice which included estate planning and probate. In 1993, Mr. Korb moved to Frey, Korb, Haggerty & Michaels as a shareholder. As the founding member of Korb Tucker PLLC, Mr. Korb continues to emphasize commercial and business law, construction law, taxation, estate planning, and commercial litigation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Korb has been involved in local bar associations and numerous civic organizations. Mr. Korb is a member of the American Bar Association, the Wisconsin and Colorado Bar Associations, and the Larimer County Bar Association. He has served as an officer in Jaycees, Optimists, and Rotary. Mr. Korb is past president of Care-A-Van, a past member and vice-president of the Board of Poudre School District, and served eight years on the Larimer County Planning Commission, holding the position of chairman for three years. Mr. Korb is a member of the Larimer County Rural Land Use Center.
His avocations include skiing, motorcycling, and, a Wisconsin carryover, sailing. He is married to Patricia, who recently retired from a career as Revenue Officer with the Internal Revenue Service.
Charles C. Tucker
Mr. Tucker practices in the areas of business law, real estate, estate planning, probate, employment law, and general litigation. He is an active member of the Larimer County and Colorado Bar Associations and of Colorado Lawyers for the Arts.
Mr. Tucker was born in Berkeley, California. He was raised in Boulder, Colorado, and later moved to New Mexico, where he received his undergraduate degree in cello performance from the University of New Mexico in 1981. He continued his education at Yale University, receiving graduate degrees in 1986, 1987, and 1992. He performed for renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, studied with the Tokyo Quartet, taught at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and performed in the Santa Fe Opera and the Grand Teton Music Festival.
In 1997, Mr. Tucker decided to follow the law and enrolled at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He earned Awards for Excellence in the College's Criminal Law Seminar and Tax Clinic. After graduation, he was admitted to the Colorado Bar and took employment as Law Clerk for Judge Arnaud Newton in the Larimer County District Court for two years. Mr. Tucker then joined the law firm of Frey, Korb, Haggerty and Michaels, P.C., where he stayed until he and Mark Korb formed Korb Tucker PLLC in late 2006.
Music continues to play a substantial role in Mr. Tucker's life. He serves as principal cellist of the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra. He is married to Heidi Mausbach, who is the principal cellist of the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. Heidi maintains a private studio of cello students, guaranteeing a house full of music for their young daughters, Emma and Greta.
