Mark L. Korb

Mark L. Korb, Attorney, Fort Collins, Colorado

Mark L. Korb was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1964 and received his JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1967, where he was awarded the Order of the Coif.

 

Mr. Korb initially practiced law with, and became a shareholder in, the firm of Campbell, Brennan, Steil & Ryan, S.C. in Janesville, Wisconsin, where he concentrated on commercial transactions, taxation, construction law and litigation, and insurance defense. In 1976, Mr. Korb moved to Fort Collins and became a partner in a well established local firm, March, March & Myatt, later known as March, Myatt, Korb & Carroll. His practice emphasis was on commercial law, including litigation, tax, and business organizations, as well as a general practice which included estate planning and probate. In 1993, Mr. Korb moved to Frey, Korb, Haggerty & Michaels as a shareholder. As the founding member of Korb Tucker PLLC, Mr. Korb continues to emphasize commercial and business law, construction law, taxation, estate planning, and commercial litigation.

Throughout his career, Mr. Korb has been involved in local bar associations and numerous civic organizations. Mr. Korb is a member of the American Bar Association, the Wisconsin and Colorado Bar Associations, and the Larimer County Bar Association. He has served as an officer in Jaycees, Optimists, and Rotary. Mr. Korb is past president of Care-A-Van, a past member and vice-president of the Board of Poudre School District, and served eight years on the Larimer County Planning Commission, holding the position of chairman for three years. Mr. Korb is a member of the Larimer County Rural Land Use Board.

 

His avocations include skiing, motorcycling, and, a Wisconsin carryover, sailing. He is married to Patricia, who recently retired from a career as Revenue Officer with the Internal Revenue Service.

Charles C. Tucker

Charles C. Tucker, Attorney, Fort Collins, Colorado

Mr. Tucker practices in the areas of business law, real estate, estate planning, probate, employment law, and general litigation. He is an active member of the Larimer County and Colorado Bar Associations and of Colorado Lawyers for the Arts.

 

Mr. Tucker was born in Berkeley, California. He was raised in Boulder, Colorado and later moved to New Mexico, where he received his undergraduate degree in cello performance from the University of New Mexico. He continued his education at Yale University, receiving graduate degrees in 1986, 1987, and 1992. He performed for renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, studied with the Tokyo Quartet, taught at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and performed in the Santa Fe Opera and the Grand Teton Music Festival.

 

In 1997, Mr. Tucker decided to follow the law and enrolled at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He earned Awards for Excellence in the College’s Criminal Law Seminar and Tax Clinic. After graduation, he was admitted to the Colorado Bar and took employment as Law Clerk for Judge Arnaud Newton in the Larimer County District Court for two years. Mr. Tucker then joined the law firm of Frey, Korb, Haggerty and Michaels, P.C. in Fort Collins, where he stayed until he and Mark Korb formed Korb Tucker PLLC in 2006.

Music continues to play a substantial role in Mr. Tucker’s life. He serves as principal cellist of the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra. He is married to cellist Heidi Mausbach, who maintains a private studio of students, guaranteeing a house full of music for their two young daughters.


Shannon B. Sharrock

Shannon B. Sharrock, Attorney, Fort Collins, Colorado

A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1997, Shannon B. Sharrock served over four and a half years on active duty as an Army CH-47D Chinook helicopter pilot before being honorably discharged as a Captain in 2002. Following her military service, she chose to attend Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas while her husband, Joe, served in Tikrit, Iraq, as an aviation combat Company Commander stationed out of Fort Hood, Texas. Originally from Zeeland, Michigan, Ms. Sharrock has called Pyongtek, South Korea and nine different states “home” while with the military before settling in Fort Collins in 2005.


Upon admission to the Colorado State Bar in 2005, Ms. Sharrock became an Associate with The Ukasick Law Firm, LLC, of Loveland, Colorado and practiced general civil law for three years, with an emphasis on personal injury litigation. Ms. Sharrock is also a member of the Wyoming State Bar. As an Associate with Korb Tucker PLLC, Ms. Sharrock will engage in a general law practice focused on litigation matters.


Since leaving the Army, Ms. Sharrock has become an advocate for military and veterans’ issues and has prepared multiple speeches and editorials, including a presentation she made before a U.S. House of Representatives subcommittee in Washington, D.C., in 2003. She has been active in all levels of politics and has worked on several local and national campaigns.


Ms. Sharrock was drawn to Colorado since her first visit to the State nearly two decades ago. She and her husband, who is a student at the Colorado State University Veterinary School in the class of 2010, have a new daughter, Devin, and a houseful of pets.
